How WeePrep collects, uses and protects the information you share with us.

Version 2.0 · Last updated 22 July 2026

1. Who we are

WeePrep (formally the WeePrep Learning & Skills-Development Centre) is a learning and skills-development centre at Plot 269 Muhammadu Buhari Way, Central Business District, Abuja, Nigeria. This policy explains, in plain terms, how we collect and use personal information through this website and our programmes.

For any privacy question or request, contact us at woddi.org@gmail.com or on +234 906 202 2323.

2. The information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run our programmes safely:

  • Enquiries: your name, email, telephone number, the subject of your enquiry and your message.
  • Registrations: a parent or guardian's name, relationship to the learner, contact details and preferred contact method; the learner's name, age and (optionally) date of birth, school, class, previous experience and any support or accessibility needs a parent chooses to share; the chosen programme and track; laptop requirements; how you heard about WeePrep; and your consent choices.
  • Website information: the page you arrived on and, where present, campaign identifiers (such as UTM tags) that tell us which advertisement or link brought you to the site. We do not send personally identifiable form data to analytics or advertising platforms.

3. Why we collect it

  • To respond to enquiries and provide information you request.
  • To process registrations, confirm places and deliver programmes.
  • To communicate about a learner's participation with their parent or guardian, including safety, attendance and progress updates.
  • To support any additional help a learner may need, where a parent has shared that information.
  • To send optional programme updates, only where you have chosen to receive them.
  • To keep proper administrative, accounting and legal records.

4. Children's information and parental consent

Registration for a learner must be completed by a parent or guardian, who provides the required consent. We apply data-minimisation: we do not ask for sensitive information we do not need, and children's details are handled with particular care and restricted access.

5. Optional consent

Photography consent and marketing consent are always optional and are never pre-selected. You may withdraw either at any time by contacting us using the details above; withdrawal does not affect your child's place on a programme.

6. Service providers we use

We use a small number of carefully chosen service providers to operate this website and our registration system:

  • Supabase provides our secure database and staff-authentication service. Registration and enquiry records are stored there with access controls, so that only authorised WeePrep staff can view them.
  • Our website-hosting provider serves this website's pages.
  • Where enabled, a transactional-email provider sends registration confirmations on our behalf.

These providers process information on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

7. No sale of personal information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, where necessary to deliver a programme, or where required by law.

8. How we protect information

Access to registration records is restricted to authorised WeePrep staff, each with their own account and role-based permissions. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections, database-level access rules and audit records of significant administrative actions. No system can guarantee protection against every possible risk, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond properly if a problem arises.

9. How long we keep information

  • Unsuccessful general enquiries: up to 12 months.
  • Programme registration and administrative records: up to five years where needed for administration, accounting, dispute handling or legal obligations.
  • Optional marketing contact: until consent is withdrawn, or after 24 months without meaningful engagement.
  • Support or accessibility information: deleted or anonymised within 12 months after the programme, unless a longer period is required for safeguarding, legal or dispute-handling reasons.
  • Technical security logs: retained only for the period reasonably necessary for security and investigation.

10. Your rights

Parents, guardians and other individuals may ask us to:

  • confirm what information we hold about you or your child, and receive a copy;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete information we no longer need to keep;
  • withdraw optional consent (photography or marketing) at any time;
  • object to or restrict certain uses of your information.

To make a request, contact woddi.org@gmail.com or call or WhatsApp +234 906 202 2323. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), the data-protection authority in Nigeria, under the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

12. Changes to this policy

When we make material changes, we will update the version number and date at the top of this page. Your registration records note the policy version that applied when you gave consent.
